Pre-assembled stainless steel "quick-clamps" with rubber insert and heat-shrink tubing.
Ready for easy installation on the mast without tools.

Completely new and produced by us in response to numerous customer requests.
The prefabricated rubberized stainless steel clamps with the practical small plastic handle.
We tested these knob clamps outdoors for months last year in UV light, under all weather conditions.
The plastic is so UV-resistant that there was no visible or functional change.
Nevertheless, for permanent installation (months and years), we still recommend using the indestructible pure stainless steel clamps with hexagonal slot drive.
However, if you want to set up and take down your pole temporarily, “quickly” and without tools, this clamp set is the perfect choice.
Advantage without tools: Everyone knows that moment when the tool for the clamp is not at hand, has fallen down or been left at home.
Our classic stainless steel clamps require a screwdriver or a 7mm hex wrench.
With our new stainless steel knob handles clamps, you can leave your tools at home and lighten your backpack.

We supply you with a complete set of 11 clamps for your 18m fiberglass mast, so you can get started right away.

Our solution for anyone who wants to set up their pole quick and easily!
With these new prefabricated knob clamps, you can get on air immediately without any tools.
Perfect for your POTA and SOTA activities or any spontaneous activity where you still want the security of “stoppers.”

General information:
The 18-meter fiberglass pole has 12 segments, each segment with an effective height of 1,5 meter.
Each segment is held in place on the next segment by a "friction lock". The rough inner surface of the larger segment holds onto the lower end of the next segment by the "friction lock", activated by pulling and turning a bit. This is comparable to a telescopic fishing rod.
But as the pole will usually stand tall straight with the forces of weight pushing downwards, the mast can not be left like this overnight, with wind, the force of guylines or weight or bad weather conditions.
To prevent the segments from coming loose, these stopper clamps are attached to the lower end of the smaller segment, directly adjacent to the edge of the larger segment. The clamp acts as a stopper and secures the segment.

When erecting the pole with secure guying, you should proceed in this manner:
First pull out the top / thinnest segment and fix it to the next one by pull&turn.
Then attach all the clamps (starting with the largest at the bottom and then sorting them up to the smallest clamp at the top).
Then tighten the smallest clamp at the bottom of the extended top segment (directly above the next segment) by hand.
The clamp should not squeeze the segment (this would damage the pole).
Then push the pole tip further up until the next segment is fully extended.
Fix again by pull&turn at the next segment and attach the corresponding clamp as a stopper.
Continue in this way until the entire mast is extended and secured.

But don't forget to attach guy belts (highly recommended optional accessory to our masts) for tensioning to the appropriate segment and raise it with the rope ends already attached to it.
Otherwise, the mast will have to be lowered again.
